CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Why anyone would ever want to cancel or return merchandise purchased from Curly Grrlz is beyond us. However, our web designer said we needed this stuff. It looks like pretty boring stuff but believe it or not it's pretty darn important to you and us, so here it goes:
Skateboarding has been and always will be a dangerous sport. Curly Grrlz highly recommends the use of safety gear when skateboarding. One digger can be the difference between a few scrapes/bruises and the end of your session, or a much more serious injury causing you to put skateboarding aside for months or even the rest of your life. Always Skateboard within your skill and comfort level until you feel confident enough to take it one step beyond. Now, go skate.

One of my favorite phenomena right now is the girl-specific product market—and I am not talking about lipstick and makeup. There is a skateboard manufacturer called Curly Grrlz, and their mantra is, "This ain't your brother's skateboard company"; they produce completely awesome decks and wheels for girls. They are sold almost exclusively online or by phone. They know girls. They know skating. Your order comes on time, perfect and with extras you didn't ask for, like t-shirts and stickers. The designs are cool, but "girl cool." Reprinted from the Knowledge Network's publication KNOW featuring an interview with Kelly Styring of Insightfarm, Inc.

Common Sense and SafetySkateboarding is a sport that involves a significant risk of personal injury, property damage and even death, and the user of the product assumes all risks and responsibility. When skateboarding is done properly and under control, these risks can be greatly reduced. Children using the products should do so only under constant and competent adult supervision. Personal safety equipment (such as helmets and pads) should be utilized at all times while skateboarding and the instructions of the manufacturer of this safety equipment should be followed. Accessories and other equipment should be properly installed per the instruction of the manufacturer of such accessories. When not using your skateboard, always secure it in a safe area. Take steps to ensure the proper care and maintenance of your equipment. Always inspect your equipment before riding. Always stay in control and ride within your level of ability. Adhere to any rules and regulations set forth by the management of the skateboard area in which you are riding. It is strongly recommended that beginners take a lesson from a certified skateboard instructor their first day to both avoid injury and to become familiar with the equipment and the sport. Enjoy your board, and always ride safely! The removal of plastic wrapping and/or warning labels from the product and or evidence or indication of actual use is considered equipment use.
